Who We've Represented:

NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY

Following his eight-year award-winning journalism career, Laderman was offered a position to lead Nova Southeastern University’s media relations, game operations, event management, statistics and publications as its Assistant Athletic Director/Sports Information for its Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.  Just four years later, he was promoted to the Office of Public Affairs, Marketing and Advertising.  There, as its Associate Director, he was responsible for leading the media relations for the 16 schools, centers and colleges that made up Nova Southeastern University –the largest private, not-for-profit university in the southeast with then-25,000-plus students.

In the four years that followed [1999-2003], he was called upon to develop NSU’s overall university-wide media relations strategy, while establishing and maintaining relationships with key reporters, editors and the general public.  Since being charged with increasing Nova Southeastern University’s visibility within the academic community and general public through the news media, NSU’s coverage had consistently improved. In fact, NSU’s media “hits” increased by more than 400 percent upon his arrival into the Office of Public Affairs, going from 120 newspaper/magazine stories in 1999 to 592 by the end of 2000.
